Easy Waffle Recipe

We can easily say that this is both the simplest and the best waffle recipe we know of. You don’t need baking powder, melted butter, eggs, or whipped egg whites to make these waffles. Since no eggs are required, you don’t need a sanitary permit to handle fresh eggs. You can introduce waffles from our recipe in one day! All you need to make these waffles is a few minutes, a waffle iron, and just three ingredients.

Waffle batter – Lykke’s recipe

To make sweet waffles, you’ll need LYKKE’s sweet waffle mix, water, oil and the right equipment: a waffle iron and a whisk or mixer.

Ingredients:

LYKKE’s sweet waffle mix

water

oil

Preparation:

One kilogram of our mix requires one litre of water and 150 ml of oil. You don’t even need a mixer – a smooth batter can be easily prepared with a simple kitchen whisk. Should waffle batter be left to rest? Set the smooth mixture aside for 15 minutes (at room temperature). This is a good time to heat up the waffle iron. How to bake waffles? We recommend baking at 200 degrees Celsius for 4-5 minutes or at 220 degrees Celsius for 3-3.5 minutes.

Preparing batter from a ready-made mix takes much less time than preparing it yourself

Can waffle batter be prepared in advance?

Preparing batter from a ready-made mix takes much less time than preparing it yourself, step by step. By using a ready-made (and therefore fast!) solution, you can serve fresh and delicious waffles. However, if you can’t bake them on the fly, prepare them in advance by baking them in the waffle iron for a maximum of 3 minutes. Once reheated (for 1.5 minutes), the waffles will be warm again, suitably crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Crispy and fluffy waffles recipe – what’s the secret to perfect waffles?

What makes waffles made with a ready-made mix bake perfectly – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and easy to remove from the waffle iron? This is the result of using a blend of flours with reduced gluten content in the perfect proportions. The right choice of flours also ensures the waffles are stable, which is extremely important when serving waffles with toppings. With a carefully developed recipe, functional additives are kept to a minimum, making these waffles delicious and natural. They taste like home-baked goods. It’s no surprise – LYKKE uses the same basic ingredients found in any kitchen.

„Since switching to ready-made waffle mix, I’ve reduced my losses to zero,” says Mr. Jacek, owner of a lakeside waffle shop in Opole. „When I first started, I used to prepare the waffle batter myself, but it just wasn’t worth it—the waffles were inconsistent; some didn’t rise, others stuck to the waffle iron so I kept accumulating losses. Now, with LYKKE, each batch turns out perfectly, and I’m confident in my product.”
